Dorothy Abzanka Culham is Of Counsel to Carter Arnett. Dorothy has broad ranging experience in multi-jurisdictional complex commercial and employment litigation, both as outside and in-house counsel. Her litigation experience includes banking and financial services, fraud in the servicer industry, UCC, IT services contract disputes, insurance disputes involving significant property damage, serious injury/death, and brand protection, real estate, premises liability, securities, intellectual property, DTPA, construction, eminent domain, single plaintiff employment, ERISA, and proceedings before the NLRB and FAA. As in-house counsel, Dorothy gained years of experience managing and participating in litigation for two global risk management groups and two financial services subsidiaries, with responsibility for all litigation and disputes globally arising out of the shutdown and divestiture of three business units. Dorothy has also managed internal investigations domestically and globally.

Dorothy was an equity shareholder at the Dallas Office of Johnson & Gibbs, P.C. until 1990, following which she had a solo practice for several years. She then joined American Airlines where she managed commercial and employment litigation matters. Subsequently she joined Electronic Data Systems Corporation and stayed on with Hewlett-Packard Company after it acquired EDS, again as a commercial and employment litigator. Most recently, Dorothy was with Dell Services, now known as NTT Data Services, where she was responsible for pre-litigation dispute resolution involving IT services contracts in the commercial, healthcare, and financial services areas.
