Kelly Schlitz is an Associate at Carter Arnett. Kelly focuses her practice on commercial litigation and employment law. Kelly represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business torts. Kelly has defended clients in litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings concerning claims asserted under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the Randolph-Sheppard Act.

Prior to joining Carter Arnett, Kelly served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer, U.S. District Judge in the Northern District of Texas; Law Clerk to the Honorable Bill Davis, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Texas; and Law Clerk to Justice Jane Bland of the Supreme Court of Texas. Before becoming a lawyer, Kelly ministered to college students as a campus pastor with Fellowship of Christian University Students, Inc.
